You’re invited to the West Ridge Care Center’s Christmas Parties! Details below:

After I blogged last time, we went to the IHCA Convention in Des Moines and haven’t blogged since.  So I apologize for that since I said I would blog each week.  I would like to call a mulligan! That being said here are the details for our Trick-or-Treating event this Saturday: Join us for Trick-or-Treating at West Ridge Care Center on Saturday, October 25th from 2-4pm.  There will be games, activities and LOTS of candy!  We encourage all staff, family members, Truman Elementary friends, and other friends of West Ridge to bring their children and grandchildren to trick-or-treat in a safe and fun environment. West Ridge Care Center has been recognized as a 2014 recipient of the Bronze National Quality Award from the American Health Care Association (AHCA) and National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL). This is the second commendation this year for West Ridge, who received an overall quality rating of 5 Stars from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service (CMS) in June. The awards mark the progress the Cedar Rapids care center has made in their plans to improve the overall quality of their facilities, staff and patient care. The Bronze National Quality Award is the first of three distinctions given by the AHCA/NCAL to long-term care facilities in recognition of their commitment to quality improvements.
